Tropica offers a wide range of activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Enjoy complimentary access to non-motorised equipment, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkelling gear. Explore the vibrant reef or ‘Bird Island’ right in front of the resort, which can be accessed from the beach or jetty. Join guided snorkelling tours or a deep sea diving adventure and discover world-class diving spots to unveil the hidden beauty of Fiji’s underwater world. Try your hand at deep sea fishing or surfing Fiji’s infamous surf breaks. Set sail on a sunset cruise or visit the iconic Monuriki Island for a taste of cinematic paradise. When it’s time to relax, floating bars located only a short distance from Tropica, provide the perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while taking in the serene surroundings.
Scenic Flights
For a different perspective of Fiji’s breathtaking reefs and Mamanuca Islands, consider a scenic flight. Choose from a 10, 20, or 30-minute flight, each offering a different perspective of the majestic islands and reefs and extending to iconic surf spots like Cloudbreak, Tavarua, and Namotu Islands. The longer flight will also showcase the stunning vistas of Monuriki Island, the filming location for Tom Hanks’ movie Castaway. Minimum 2 passengers per trip.
Can be combined with a helicopter arrival or departure. Please book prior to arrival.
Guided Snorkelling Tours
Discover the vibrant underwater world of Fiji with our Guided Snorkelling Tours, where you’ll explore breathtaking locations like The Sandbar, Honeymoon Island, Castaway Wall and Garden Reef. Minimum 4 passengers per trip. FJ$125 – FJ$150 per person.

Diving Trips
Our certified PADI scuba instructors welcome divers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Dive into crystal-clear, warm waters with up to 25 meters of visibility year-round, and experience a vibrant array of marine life. Choose from over 30 stunning dive sites, including the renowned Supermarket Dive Site and Namotu Wall.
Fishing
We offer a variety of fishing experiences, from light tackle fishing to deep-sea trolling for big game fish such as yellowfin tuna and marlin! Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned angler, our customised trips into the deeper waters of the Mamanucas promise to create unforgettable memories.

Surfing
Tropica is conveniently situated near some of Fiji’s most renowned surfing spots, with several of the world’s best breaks just 45 minutes away. Advanced surfers can take on Cloudbreak or Restaurants, both ranked among the top 10 most challenging breaks globally. Desperations and Namotu Left are ideal for intermediate surfers, while Wilkes Pass offers waves suitable for all skill levels. The final location will be decided before departure based on the day’s conditions and your surfing ability. FJ$300 per person for up to 2-4 hours. $80 – board hire.

Monuriki Island
Tropica’s signature activity is a visit to famous Monuriki Island where Castaway was filmed. Complete with a romantic picnic for two and a bottle of sparkling wine. After dining, enjoy the white sand beach, snorkelling and exploring the sheltered lagoon of this uninhabited tropical island paradise. Minimum 4 passengers per trip. FJ$350 per person.

Floating Bars
Located only a short distance away amidst the turquoise waters of the Pacific ocean are Fiji’s floating platforms. For an elevated party vibe visit the iconic and vibrant Cloud 9, featuring regular DJs and house music. Alternatively, Seventh Heaven offers a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere where you can soak up the sun, swim and snorkel at your leisure. Minimum 4 passengers per trip. FJ$180 – FJ$250 per person.

Sunset Cruise
The perfect way to end your day. Enjoy a slow relaxing cruise around Lakalaka Bay whilst watching the suns majestic descent into the ocean. FJ$50 per person.

Fijian Village Visit
Experience the Fijian culture during a two-hour visit with our team to nearby Solevu Village, the home of the traditional landowners of the resort. You will be guided through the village, visit the local school, medical facility and get a feel for island life. On the sandy beach you’ll also find a small handicraft market and smiling villagers to welcome you as part of the family. We can also arrange a visit to the weekly church service where you are welcome to soak up the angelic harmonies of the Solevu church choir.
